Praise God…He did some exciting things through His Church in Ventura County on June 2!
Across Ventura County during Serve Day 2012, 34 churches partnered to put James 1:27 into action; they practiced “pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father” by sending over 1500 volunteers “to visit orphans and widows in their distress” and performing over 300 service projects.
As Jesus prayed in John chapter 17, the community saw the Body of Christ unified and working together. What a great opportunity it was for us to share the Gospel in word and in deed on a large scale.
