You are the behind-the-scene pillars that keep ACTION healthy, functioning and ready to mobilize volunteer groups, day in and day out.
ACTION Core Volunteer Staff Opportunities
- Grant-Writing: identify opportunities to apply for grants and work with ACTION leaders to develop proposals.
- Help to plan and coordinate fund raising events to benefit ACTION.
- Ministry Center support: answering phones, listening and responding to needs and requests for service, stuffing and addressing envelopes for mailings, etc.
- Serve Day Leadership Team: help plan and coordinate.
- Foster Care Ministry Leadership Team: help provide oversight and coordination of this ministry to foster parents, children and youth.
- Christmas Shoppe Leadership Teams: there is a separate team for each of the Christmas Shoppes (Ventura, Pt. Hueneme/Oxnard, Conejo Valley, Simi Valley). This team helps plan and coordinate the collection of donations and the staffing of the Shoppe.
