Share the love and generosity of Christ in our communities by providing toys for under-resourced families.
What is Community Christmas Shoppe?
First and foremost, Christmas Shoppe is a vessel to spread hope to those that are struggling financially this Christmas season. Through Christmas Shoppe, families are given the ability to provide Christmas gifts for their children. Collection boxes are placed in churches and businesses throughout the community where individuals can donate a new, unwrapped toy. We partner with local social service agencies to identify under-resourced families and carefully select those to invite to the Christmas Shoppe. On the day of the event, invited guests “shop” for new toys, sporting goods, electronics, and more at no personal cost. While festivities vary from location to location, most Shoppes provide hospitality (snacks, refreshments) as well as childcare with crafts and activities, entertainment, photos, gift wrapping, and much more!
Christmas Shoppe strives to provide quality toys to low-income families in a safe and dignified way, with respectfulness and understanding. By serving together this Christmas Season, we will make an impact in the lives of the families that will last a lifetime. They will walk away from the event with so much more than toys; they will come away with the unique hope and joy that only the love of Christ gives.
