OPEN VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
NEEDS OF THE WEEK
Throughout the year, we connect volunteers to service projects in their communities for neighbors in need. In order to meet the ever-increasing level of needs in Ventura County, we need committed volunteers like you! NOW (Needs of the Week) Projects serve under-resourced seniors, families, and those with disabilities by meeting critical minor repair needs that improve their safety in the home. NOW projects can be completed with your skills on your schedule, and most projects take less than 2 hours. So grab your spouse, your kids, a friend, or a trusty hammer and sign up for a project!
ACCESSIBILITY PROJECTS
For persons with a mobility-limiting disability or major illness, we provide specialized home modifications to restore accessibility and independence! But we need more skilled volunteers to help us with accessibility needs and complete grab bar installations, ADA ramp builds, stair modifications, and door widening. If you would like to join or lead one of our accessibility teams, register in the form below.
SEASONAL VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
LOVE VC
Love VC (Ventura County) is a county-wide event that brings acts of service to communities in need. On the first Saturday in June thousands of volunteers from churches, businesses, and agencies come together to complete projects for their neighbors. You can join us for our 17th annual day of bringing acts of service to our communities in need by leading a project or volunteering! Learn more about this upcoming day of impact below.
COMMUNITY CHRISTMAS SHOPPE
Happening Saturday, December 2nd, 9th & 16th! Community Christmas Shoppe serves under-resourced families by providing toys for Christmas. Families are invited to attend a Shoppe through their school or agency, and receive free childcare while parents browse a wide selection of new, donated toys! Hundreds of volunteers join in making this a fun and festive event by assisting with everything from helping families select toys, gift wrapping, and more. Volunteer with us!
